"Emil Fahle moved to Tallinn from Germany in 1895. As a son of an engine driver he had only 5 roubles in his pocket, but self-confidence and enterprise soon helped him to find a job in Osse and Co cellulose factory founded instead of Ülemiste paper factory. He started from an inferior position, but being efficient in various fields he was soon promoted. Seeing the shareholders in debts and the whole factory in economic difficulties Fahle presented the shareholders his action program. "
