Auch die OECD ist nun im Web 2.0 Das ist von der Pressekonferenz, als die Einladung zum Beitritt zur OECD verkündet wurde.

Slowenien und Estland haben viele Parallelen. Estland war ein Sonderfall in der Sowjetunion, zusammen mit Lettland und Litauen. Kleine Laender und Vorreiter der Desintegration der alten sozialistischen Grossstaaten. Slowenien hatte diese Rolle in Jugoslawien.
Auch die Verwechslung der Laender mit anderen Staaten haelt an. Baltikum/Balkan, Estland/Island und vieles mehr.
In Slowenien gab es einen Blogger, der auch ein wenig Vorbild fuer mich beim Bloggen war. Michael Manske. Leider hat er seit 2008 nicht mehr gepostet.

Slovenia is a chicken-shaped country wedged between Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia with a population of just under two million. (There is a great interactive map here.)

After a short and relatively bloodless ten-day war in 1991, Slovenia gained independence from the artist formerly known as Yugoslavia. Two years later, Slovakia took the Slovakia out of Czechoslovakia, and a decade of confusion began. The Slovenia/Slovakia problem has claimed such high-profile victims as The New York Times and the President of the United States, and continues to befuddle innocent people all over the world.
